Appointments

Appointments can be booked in advance and also on the day in the morning by ringing the surgery at 08:30am. Patients can choose to see a doctor or nurse of their choice depending upon availability; this does not apply in the case of an emergency.

Please don't be alarmed if our reception team ask the nature of the problem - this is just so they can direct you to the best clinician to deal with your problem (our staff are trained to care navigate). However please don't feel like you have to state the reason, we understand that some things are personal.

Home visits

Our Doctors will visit a patient if they are housebound and unable to attend the surgery due to frailty or medical problems etc. If you need to request a home visit for yourself, a family member or friend, please call the Surgery and give as much information to the Reception Team so they can pass it onto the GP. We ask that home visit requests are made before 11am, this is so the GP can prepare for any visit they need to make before the day is over. For more information please see the drop down for "home visits"

Telephone Appointments

If patients fail to get an appointment, our reception team may take your details and the problem you have and speak to the Duty Doctor the same day. This may result in a telephone consultation or if necessary arrange an appointment or a member of the reception team can call you back with advise from the GP on what to do next.
